In 2011, a whole new meaning was given to the term "Edinburgh Tattoo". Not since Robert The Bruce, and his the war-painted Jacobites stormed the fields of Bannockburn, had Scotland seen such a proud ink skinned army gathering.
Yes, Scotland's long over due International Tattoo Convention had arrived, and it was a roaring success! Not only did some of the World's most prominent artists, from both the UK and abroad, showcase their amazing tattooing skills, but we were also treated to some great entertainment, music, and fantastic vendors plying their unique items. The highlight of the weekend however, was the warm welcome given to those working the convention by those attending it, and the mutual respect which resulted.
So, it is with great pride that we announce its return! The Second Annual Scottish Tattoo Convention 2012 will take place on Saturday 31st March - Sunday 1st April, and will again be hosted in the fabulous and historic Corn Exchange.
We gratefully appreciate all of the positive feedback we have had from last year's show, we have also taken on board any suggestions for changes this year, and will accommodate wherever possible. We aim to make this Year's show even bigger and better, and already have some very exciting additions arranged. From World renowned artists, to top class entertainment, this will again be a weekend to remember.
